Some of our unique features include the Bishop Planetarium, Cortez Fishing Village, Gamble Plantation, McKechnie Field, the Powel Crosley Estate, Florida Railroad Museum and a motor sports park. Manatee County offers 20 miles of breathtaking beaches, agricultural fields and farms, world-class sporting facilities and golf courses, an array of gorgeous waterways and islands, a brightly-colored artists’ community of galleries and restaurants, quaint downtown streetscapes and a wide range of residential areas from vintage bungalow-lined streets to exclusive Stepford-esque gated communities.
